Our commitment
We take every complaint seriously. If a Baton Rouge home inspection, remediation, or water-damage restoration referred through this site does not meet your expectations, we want to hear about it. Complaints are how we improve the crews we work with and how we protect other homeowners in the East Baton Rouge Parish corridor.
How to file a complaint
Complaints can be submitted three ways:
- Email: contact@moldremovalbatonrouge.com with "COMPLAINT" in the subject line. Include the crew name (if known), the service address, the date of the work, and a description of the issue.
- Phone: (225) 422-7176. Ask for the person handling complaints. We will log the complaint immediately during the call.
- Written mail: if you prefer paper, request our mailing address by email and we will provide it.
What we do next
When we receive a complaint:
- Acknowledgement. We confirm receipt within two business days.
- Investigation. We contact the crew that performed the work, review the written scope and any documentation on file, and where necessary schedule a re-inspection of the property to verify the issue.
- Response. We provide a written response within fifteen business days with our findings and any corrective action offered by the crew.
- Escalation. If our proposed resolution does not satisfy you, we will explain external escalation options (see below).
Types of complaint we handle directly
- Quality of workmanship on inspection or remediation.
- Communication issues (missed appointments, unreturned calls).
- Billing disputes on quoted vs actual work.
- Concerns about the credentials or conduct of a referred crew member.
External escalation options in Louisiana
If we cannot resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, or if you prefer to escalate directly, the following external bodies handle mold-services complaints in Louisiana:
- Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) for indoor air quality or health-related concerns.
- Louisiana Attorney General — Consumer Protection Section for consumer-protection complaints and unfair-practice concerns.
- Louisiana Board of Home Inspectors if the complaint concerns an inspection performed as part of a real estate transaction.
- Louisiana LSMRA registry office for concerns about a remediator applicator's registration status.
- Better Business Bureau of South Central Louisiana for general business-conduct complaints.
- Small Claims Court — East Baton Rouge Parish for disputes below the small-claims threshold.
We can provide current contact information for any of the above on request — call (225) 422-7176.
Retaliation
We do not retaliate against complainants. Filing a complaint does not affect our willingness to serve you in the future.
Records
Complaint records are retained for seven years and are available to you on request.
